Espiritus Plantas en Movimiento

As the art director and creative developer for the EPP MOV (Espiritus Plantan en Movimiento) brand, my role was pivotal in designing a brand identity that fused community structures with natural elements. By researching New York City’s diverse cultures and delving into plant symbolism and garden visuals, I crafted a modular tile design, symbolizing organic elements using soft, earthy tones. This comprehensive two-month design journey encompassed ideation, concept development, and alignment with the brand’s ethos and community. My involvement went beyond design, intertwining cultural narratives, sustainability, and visual storytelling. Collaborating closely with the team and stakeholders, I woven a brand identity that epitomized EPP’s essence as a social movement centered on spiritual plants and community engagement.

Spiritual plants

Deeply interwoven with humanity’s history,
hold an intrinsic significance that transcends their physical form. These botanical entities, revered for their mystical properties and spiritual connections, have been integral to various cultural practices, religious ceremonies, and healing rituals across civilizations. The importance of spiritual plants extends beyond their material presence; they are conduits for exploring altered states of consciousness, facilitating profound spiritual experiences, and connecting individuals with the divine, inner selves, and the natural world. In indigenous cultures worldwide, plants like ayahuasca, peyote, and psilocybin mushrooms are revered as sacred sacraments, employed in ceremonial contexts to foster spiritual growth, healing, and insight.
